Hi, Iβm Suzi (she/they) - an illustrator, designer and creative educator based in the city of Sheffield, UK.
I specialise in expressive hand lettering and characterful illustration, combining analogue media and mark making with vibrant digital colour. I have been working in the illustration industry for over a decade creating work influenced by nature, subculture and wordplay. I also use narrative illustration to communicate ADHD experiences.
I work as a lecturer in graphic design and illustration and deliver teaching that focuses on idea and concept development, media experimentation and narrative exploration.
My academic research explores play and the natural world as a way to navigate liminal environments in arts education.
