Brief: Vans asked me to design and paint a design for the winter holiday window for their store in Leeds, UK. This project was commissioned via Roar illustration agency.

The brief required me to incorporate the statement ‘Have a Vans-Tastic Holiday’. I transformed the iconic Vans checkerboard pattern into a dance floor for a collection of characters. The animal characters celebrated different musical subcultures and styles, and represented unity and celebration for the winter festivities.

I used Posca and acrylic paint on glass to produce this piece, which was completed over the space of three days.
